Carew International continued its support of Pi Sigma Epsilon (PSE) at the organization’s recent national conference, providing a scholarship and delivering a keynote presentation at the event. Pi Sigma Epsilon (PSE) is the national professional fraternity for sales and marketing students and professionals. Each year PSE hosts the Pro-Am Sell-a-Thon® collegiate sales competition to promote skill development, provide an authentic B2B sales experience and promote sales as a professional career. Regional Pro-Am Sell-a-Thon competitions throughout last fall culminated in the national competition at the PSE National Conference, held this year in Houston.
Carew Partner Ed Albertson presented a $1500 scholarship to Kristen Reilly, from DePaul University, in recognition of her leadership, personal integrity and future potential as a sales professional. Later in the day, Albertson delivered the keynote presentation, Selling in the New Millennium: What Has and Has Not Changed, to conference attendees. Additional Carew team members were on site to provide sales skill instruction, coaching and evaluation in support of the final competition.
Carew International has provided the sales training content and coaching for this year’s entire regional and national Pro-Am Sell-a-Thon sales competition. “Nothing better exemplifies the mission of PSE more than our annual Pro-Am sales competitions,” stated PSE Executive Director Ann Devine. “We take great pride in the sales skill training we provide at these events. Each year we strive to improve the integrity of the professional development component, as well as the overall competition process,” Devine continued. “In partnering with Carew International, we feel we have taken a great leap forward.”
